What goes on a battlecard
A good battlecard fits one screen: how the rival positions itself, what it charges, where it is strong, where it is weak, what changed recently and what to say. RivalIsm fills the first parts from the rival pages and gives you room for your own talk tracks.
- Positioning and target customer
- Pricing and packaging
- Strengths and weak spots
- Recent changes with dates
- How to win and questions to ask
Why static battlecards go stale
A slide made in January describes a rival that no longer exists by June. Without an owner and a feed of changes, cards are right once and then slowly wrong. RivalIsm supplies the feed so the owner edits instead of researching.
Our battlecard template shows a filled example.
Versions for audit and learning
On Scale each change creates a version, so you can see what a card said when a deal was lost. Growth cards are auto updated and editable, and Starter cards are view only.
